So… yesterday's Thursday night DD live was a resounding failure! I sat all alone in my new chatroom waiting for my mates to turn up and they all forgot. Do I hear violins? I had wanted to test everything to see what would happen if more than one person was chatting to herself but that didn't happen.

Today, I abandoned Gabbly because some people have had problems with it (I won't mention any names!) Seriously though, the new chatroom is up and running. Go to Chatroom (at the top of the blog), sign into the page using the existing chat password you have and off you go (hopefully).

I have allowed anonymous posting because I am not a total control-freak but I advise you to go and make a profile. It only takes about 30 seconds and you get to have your own little avatar on the chat. Very cute. Please do me a favour though and change your background to white (I am a control-freak after all!).

I looked around at some other coolwebtoys chatrooms and they looked so hideous, with neon colours all over the place AND avatars, that I almost fainted. I like to think we are a sophisticated bunch at DD Live. The instructions are posted on the chatroom page but if you need any help, send me an email.

The chatroom is open at all times, so use it whenever you wish to chat with other friends at THIS IS NOT MY COUNTRY. So… go and sort out your profile now and leave me a message so I know that it's all working. Oh, and please don't send sympathy comments about last night's chat. I was joking. I actually messed around online and had a good time despite being a johnny-no-mates! Ha ha.

UPDATE: The chatroom thing I'm using cannot be on a password protected page apparently, so I will have to change it yet again. I will sort it out next week. (Banging head on the keyboard)
