Exhibition Photographs
Published by deviousdiva May 27th, 2008 in Photography.I posted a password-protected post 2 weeks ago about a photography exhibition I was participating in. My regular readers know why I didn’t make it public. Anyway, the exhibition is over and was a great success. If you would like to view my photographs, you can do so by clicking “Images” at the top of the page.
Thank you to everyone who came. It was an incredibly inspiring and rewarding experience.
Thank you to my fellow photographers for their brilliant work and wonderful company.
Thank you to the organisers who worked tirelessly to make it a success.
Thank you to the people who run the venue for their kindness and the late-night impromptu music and dancing.

Brilliant. Gorgeous. Sad. Wonderful.
I wish I could have seen these photos for real.
Well done DD, you never cease to amaze me !
Went there with a friend Sunday afternoon. I had seen a notice about the exhibition at bollybutton’s blog. Didn’t know your pictures were there, but recognized them immediately of course. There were some extremely touching pictures in the exhibition. The one with the burning car and the old man crossing the street was the most fascinating though… kind of otherworldly.
When I recognized your pictures, I looked around, but didn’t see anybody who I thought could have been you, too bad. There were a lot of incense sticks (or however those are called) and the intense, partially unbreathable smell drove us away, so we had our coffee somewhere else.

Sorry I missed you betabug !
I was there every evening but couldn’t do afternoons. I am very glad you liked it and I think the photo you picked out with the burning car was one of the exhibition favorites! The kid said to me ” I really liked your photos, mum, but the one with the car on fire was the best”
It was. And I have passed on your comment to the photographer.
Thanks for coming.
you are amazing.

I’m glad you’ve given us all a chance to see your powerful photographs, and that you were able to show them off to lots of real people too. I like the pictures of the children best, as I think they convey the very strong message that we (and our children) are all the same, living, breathing, feeling, hurting, smiling people, however other people might treat us.
Amazing photographs. They so deserve to be seen in an exhibition. I’m going to write about it on my blog as well.
