Iraqi, Yes, I do care about a great many things including human rights in Iraq and the illegal war. Unfortunately, I cannot cover everything on this blog so I have to focus on the issues happening in the country that I live in. Greece. I have been asked many times to comment on human rights abuses all over the world but it is beyond the scope of one person. There are quite a few community/group blogs and websites that do deal with a global view of human rights. If I get the chance, I will post them here in the comments. In the meantime, in my sidebar there are links to some sites under "Resources"

Iraqi, how was life under Sadaam Hussein? Was it all lies? Did not Sadaam and his sons rule Iraq with an iron fist and have you forgotten the jubilation during the first days of the American liberation of Iraq? Did you forget the tumbling of the Sadaam statue in the main square of Bagdad.

The problem is not the Americans in Iraq but rather your own Iraqi people who cannot stop killing each other due to so many different factions.

One of my good friends in in Iraq now and tells me of many Iraqis who are happy with the US Forces and the work we have done for Iraq in rebuilding the country after so many years of neglect due to Sadaam.

However, i agree the time has come for us to go. And when we do, then you will see what Hell is truly like.

What about human rights in Iraq and the human rights violations from the occupation forces there deviousdiva. The invasion and occupation of that country is a crime against humanity by itself.

Strangely enough you don't seem very concerned about the crimes against humanity conducted there.Shame really.

Thanks for your thoughts on human rights. As the Preamble to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights reminds us, “…recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.”
