Far-Right Politician

Teacher Dude posts a photograph and some words about the far-right politician Kyriakos Velopolous and the party he is a member of (LAOS). Go and read his post and the Kathimerini article he links to.

Nice to know that such fine, upstanding educated folk are representing the people of Thessaloniki in parliament.

DD comparing him with your pall Dimitras I think he escapes with a clean health bill!!!!
    LOL
And dont forget he has been elected democratically! When other didn’t pass this test! Not even came close!

By the way I have heard some of his speeches in the parliament and sound both democratic and fair!

And well substantiated! At least so far…

The fact that a far Right politician has popular support is exactly the problem. Defining your own political identity as being “not Jewish, communist or homosexual” and then attacking a meainstream politician such as Karamanlis with this is so disgusting that it is difficult to comment on it calmly. Greeks should worry that they are starting to think of themselves as “not being” Jewish or gay or left… Wait a minute, didn’t that happen 75 years ago, with that democratically elected politician Adolf Hitler?

If you think Velopoulos’s statements are fine, then you are also disgusting.
