Baldwin-Edwards demonstrates again he is an opponent of even elementary human rights such as freedom of expression.

Mr. Plevris has the right to write whatever he wants. In much the same way you are your supposedly ‘tolerant’ (emphasis because of your absurd views about lack of Greek ’scholarship’, if you ever took a class in Byzantine studies you’d realise there is plenty of Greek scholarship around) ilk want to write about the benefits of human detritus washing up on our shores.

I think that even tops the 1984 court decision at Court of First Instance/Protodikio at Iraklion that practically said that truly the Jews are instruments of Satan and are after world domination using as tools the Jehovah witnesses.

The Witnesses are either consciously or subconsciously the instruments of Satan, claim that Greece made no contribution to civilization, hope for the destruction of the Christian world and accept no homeland other than Israel.

The most remarkable definition is from the Greek public prosecutor in this important case, who according to this account, defines a scholarly work as one which “cites from a bibliography”. This is the most horrendous of superficial opinions, and reveals the underlying general Greek problem of failing to deal with substance and relying almost 100% on formal appearances. In fact, there is very little Greek scholarship and an excess of opinions and ignorant prejudices.

Yes, I agree, one could quibble with the definitions. They were taken from the United website that leads the International Day against Fascism and Anti-Semitism. Histologion is on my list of regular reads and my blogroll. I really enjoy it too. I also know Talos from the European Tribune where I occasionally write (though not much recently).
