From an email sent to me by the center:

We are looking for volunteers to help the “Support Center for Children and Family” in Athens. The Center is making efforts to have disadvantaged children enrolled in school and provide support for socially excluded children (street children), children belonging to racial, national, and religious minorities and children facing psychological and domestic problems, racism and marginalization.

The Center needs help in many different areas: children need assistance with their lessons and much else. Our organization pays small salaries for secretarial help and for the services of the organizer supervising the volunteers, who will undertake the task of monitoring them and providing necessary support.
