I am so pleased with myself today. I finally worked out how to insert my own header into this theme. I have had a total tech-brain block on this particular problem for months now. Today, I decided that I would not let this beat me. Now my blog REALLY looks like my own place. Enjoy!

UPDATE: Apologies for the mess in the header when viewing with Safari (if you saw it yesterday). The blog title and tagline were showing over the header image. Horrible! The love of my life (webmaster extraordinaire and tech advisor) pointed out the problem. My heart sank when I saw how terrible it looked on that browser. Anyway, five minutes later I had it sorted. For the other wanna-be geeks out there, if you put font size to 0pt, Safari will use its default value. I am not sure which other browsers do that but I defeated it by setting font size to 0.01pts. Probably not the most technically correct thing to do, but it works for me! I am sure all you web experts are rolling their eyes, big time, right about now (sorry VK) but hey, until I get one of those “I instantly know everything technical and webby and internety chip things” implanted in my brain, it will have to do!
