Women’s Day

I hope you feel better soon, mon amie! Seeing as it is International Women’s Day, I just wanted to drop by and tell you what an amazing woman I think you are. It seems like we became friends from the first time we conversed. Since then, I have only grown to admire you even more. If you were not happily married, I would surely try to steal you away to the USA! Well actually, I’d probably ask you if I could move in so that I could get out of this hellhole of a country but that’s another matter altogether. Anyway, everytime we talk, I can’t help but think that you are exactly the kind of woman that I hope my daughter grows up to be: confident, passionate, intelligent, empathic, courageous, talented and beautiful. We need more people like that in this world but I am grateful for the fact that if there is only one, I am fortunate enough to be friends with her. I love you dearly and I am very thankful to your family for letting me borrow you once a week so that you can listen to me complain about my life with someone who really cares.
