The 2000 bloggers project continues despite causing some big bloggers getting their knickers in a twist and trying to put an end to it. A couple of influential (big boy) bloggers moaned about their ranking at Technorati. I guess they were worried about their incomes but blogging IS supposed to be for all of us, isn't it? Anyway, they have gained many new links through this project so I don't think they have anything to worry about. (and Technorati is on their side) Anyway, here's me with some of my fellow subversive bloggers.

Power to the little people. Make no mistake. We are trying to take over the world.

UPDATE: It was remarks by Zoli that made me angry.

  1. Oh boy, I continue to get love for that post, heh. I’m not a big boy, just a small time guy who also loves people

    hey thanks for the linklove

    :)

Thanks for popping over, Jeremiah. I actually made a mistake and should have linked to Zoli in this post because he made me really angry (sorry). Thank you for writing the updates. You make your point and you were not afraid to resolve your problems with this project. I appreciate that.

Anyway, I have found some great people through this “blog fight” and I am glad to have “met” you too.

It’s interesting to see played out on the blogosphere, the thing that was supposed to encourage democracy and participation for all, the same sorts of “class struggles” played out politically in Real Life™.

Maybe if the “elite” bloggers would pull their heads out and grab some fresh air they and Tech. would realize the world doesn’t revolve around them.

  4. sly civilian says:

I’m shocked….shocked to find linkfarming in this blogosphere!

(left two…seems like i’m still getting spammed.)

  5. caramelo says:

Well, what can I say?… get a life?

Hi April, it is very interesting. The project just seems to run and run despite the put-downs.

Hi Sly, I don’t know why that happened?!!

Hi caramelo, thanks but I have one.

  7. Love this post. Love your tagline. It’s so true. And sad. And yes, we are subversive. Just ever so slightly ;)

  8. love this post, and you are so right !

  9. Imogen says:

    Hey there…

You reminded me of that amazing Spielberg cartoon “Pinky and the Brain”.

P: So, what are we doing tonight Brain?
B: Same thing we do every night Pinky…Try to take over the world!

    :)

Wishing you the best of luck, even if I wouldn’t personaly know where to start, lol. Guess for me blogging is just a cool way to meet people and keep up with friends that have moved half way across the globe ;)

Hi Elaine, Thank you for all the hard work you are putting into this and for keeping the vision alive.

Hi nabih abi habib and welcome. Thank you for your comment I hope you will visit again and take part in other discussions

That goes for all the 2000k bloggers btw

Hi Imogen, Pinky and the Brain was one of my favorites. I started this blog to express my concerns about human rights issues here in Greece and have built a brilliant if small community through commitment and hard work. So I really resented people telling me that somehow my blog was of less value because of ranking and links. I link to whoever I like and that’s how it will stay. Thanks for your comments too.
