Goodbye

I hope someone else will pick up the idea and run with it.
It's a sad thing and I am not done crying over "my baby", but I am finished.
Who knows ? Another blog ? A different kind of blog ?

UPDATE: I am too emotional right now to give explanations except to say this has been coming for a while. Yesterday I was ready to delete the whole thing. Something stopped me going that far. I talked to my best friend and he suggested I take a break instead of quitting. That's probably the right thing to do. At some point, when I sort out some of the confused feelings I have about this blog, I will explain what has led to this. So I will take a break and see where I am in a while… Thank you for your messages.

Why the sudden departure from your blog with no explanation. I hope it’s because you are so busy with a paying engagement that you have no time for this.
Maybe you should do what Ted at "You know who" does. He allows his favorite bloggers to continue his blog and post their comments. You could give your favorite bloggers admin rights and they could continue your blog without you but of course you could occasionally post etc.
I hope you do a blog on why you left.

I don’t really know quite what to say. I’m definitely shocked and I am so very sorry to hear that you’re no longer going to be blogging. I’ve always thought that blogs like yours give the whole concept of blogging a good name. You brought issues to the forefront which were rarely ever covered in traditional media. And you did it so well.
I really hope that a break is all you need and that you will eventually return to your informative, well-written and inspired blog. You’ve received more than your fair share of criticism for the topics you chose to write about (and NEEDED to be covered) so I can understand how that can really affect your desire to keep writing.
I admire you so much for sticking with it this long and being the person you are. The world is a better place with people like you in it. Never forget that.
