   thank you so much for writing about this; it is so important. perhaps i forgot, as i am prone to do, but how did you get involved with this community?

   Hi JustMe. No worries. I have written quite a bit about this community so that information is long buried in there! I got in touch with the Greek Helsinki Monitor (GHM) , a Human Rights organisation here in Greece. They put out a lot of information about the Roma community and I wrote to them asking what I could do. They invited me to go with them and see for myself the conditions of the settlement at Votanikos. That visit is detailed here.Thank you for your kind words of support.
