Votanikos: Precious

In spite of the despair and desolation there in Votanikos, this young lad and I shared a laugh. A simple moment.

I’m so glad you are doing this series. I have been concerned about the treatment of Roma in Europe since I first read about the racism and hostility with which they have to live. I will be reading. Keep it up! None of us is free if one of our brothers or sisters is trapped.

    DEAR SMITTY :

YOU THINK GOD HAS HIS REVENGE ……….

BY HAVING AMERICANS KILLED ALL OVER THE WORLD

WITH THE BLESSINGS OF YOUR LEADER……? XM.,..???

AND IN CASE YOU MISSED IT :

    zardoz says :

    hey smitty ,, guess what,,

israel was in lebanon , over twenty years , and supposedly to

police their neighbor ,, and clean up whatever they had on their

    minds,

,SINCE the last massacre at SHAMBRA AND SHATILA

    in 1986,,

were genocide was performed by the state of israel

    guess what ………..IT FAILED. !

So instead of weeping for the roma ,, and making parallelisms

think again ……………………….. for the hezbollah that

they are supposedly hiding weapons in schools

    …………think very carefully

who youre trying to BULLSHIT ,,, in case you really dont know

heres a chance for you to maybe learn:

in case you already know ,, youll agree with me that israeli

military hunter-killer groups are the best in the business

so if terrorists were the real problem ,, everything

would have been taken care of many years ago.

obviously this isnt the case ,, THIS IS A STRUGGLE OF MANY

    PEOPLE TO STAY ALIVE AND A “”” S T R U G G L E “””””

to have a home and freedom and not be stepped on

bu the state of israel ,, or anyone else for that matter

TODAY the state of israel sent a very interesting

message to the rest of the world ,,

THEY KILLED IN COLD BLOOD ,,,,,,ON PURPOSE

    UNITED NATION OBSERVERS …………….END STORY

    ISRAEL IS ON ITS OWN
NOONE WILL CRY FOR THE STATE OF ISRAEL ANYMORE

BUT I WILL CRY FOR THE JEWS AND THE LEBANESE

THAT WILL DIE IN THE COURSE OF ACTION

    BY THEIR ASS HOLE LEADERS

AND I FEEL HELPLESS TO STOP THIS .

MAY GOD HELP THEM ,, FOR THEY ARE ALL F__C__ED

    BUT DONT BULLSHIT US…..OR YOURSELF

    = ZARDOZ=

Zardoz, you have the right to your opinion of course, but I will still continue to support the state of Israel and the Jews. Your emotional words/insults have not changed my mind, and neither will all the propagandizing websites you can throw at me. And in the end, it really doesn’t matter what you or I say, because (Thank God) more rational people with cool heads run the show.
The only thing I can say is that we can agree to disagree. If you wish to discuss this civilly, I’d be glad to accommodate you, but insults will not get another response from me. I believe miss Diva has a policy against that kind of thing in case you were not aware.

I am completely baffled as to how my posts about the Roma in Votanikos descended into an argument about Israel and terrorism. I realise this is a time of extreme stress about the future in the Middle East but this is not the place to discuss it.

Please read what I have to say about moderation (full post in sidebar under Favorite Posts):

Many people who have commented here have crossed the line on occasions and they have not been pulled up on it. Why?

I am not always in front of my machine babysitting my blog and comments do slip through.

Sometimes a short warning from me has been enough to get the discussion back on track.

Some people have thrown insults on occasion but for the most part are civil and willing to debate without being rude.

In all honesty, I like some commentors more than others, but even they have been warned at times.

    Thank you.
