I’m so sorry for this completely OT comment. I’m working on a project on women’s rights, and want to send an email out about this project to feminists I know online. Would you please send me an email at spotted_ele@hotmail.com if your interested and if you don’t mind sharing your email address? thanks!
Hey Zardoz, I am sure the cat is not healthy. BTW. He’s not mine. He belongs to someone so he is being fed (sort of) but my son and I have adopted him for cuddles and strokes on our way to and from school which he loves. We wanted to adopt him properly but I am afraid my husband is allergic. So we just keep an eye on him. I am going to be very cheeky and slip a bit of proper cat food to him when I can. Obviously, I can’t do that when the owner is around! It’s so sad to see the way people treat their "pets". There are three dogs on our route who need proper homes too. They are being kept on very short chains in front yards. Sometimes I see them out there without water and by the look of them with very little food. I am not sure if these people can be reported ? Any ideas.
zardoz says : personally i usually pass and meet
the owners on saturday or sunday mornings,
and have a talk , about the wellbeing of
the animals , and if they themselves
were animals
how they would like to be treated badly .
message sometimes sinks in.
on the reporting side , the organazations
of the goverment are not very strong
on making it a point ,,to write up
citizens mistreating their animals
but the laws are there .
