Thanks to the Greek Council for Refugees, refugees in Athens have the opportunity to follow English language lessons for free at the Centre of English Language Teaching (CELT). Most enrolled students come from Afghanistan, while there is a long waiting-list for a place in the 12-student class.

Oh, that’s so sad. It’s reading things like that that get me motivated again to volunteer. Sometimes I forget how good my life really is!

Is there anything like this in Thessaloniki ? I’m going to have som free time over summer and I wouldn’t mind volunteering my time as a teacher.

Hey you, Craig. I have no idea what’s going on in Thessalonki but if I find out I will let you know. That is wonderful that you are willing to do that.
Does anyone up there , in Northern Greece, know anything?
