Thanks to the Greek Council for Refugees, refugees in Athens have the opportunity to follow English language lessons for free at the Centre of English Language Teaching (CELT). Most enrolled students come from Afghanistan, while there is a long waiting-list for a place in the 12-student class.










Oh, that’s so sad. It’s reading things like that that get me motivated again to volunteer. Sometimes I forget how good my life really is!
Is there anything like this in Thessaloniki ? I’m going to have som free time over summer and I wouldn’t mind volunteering my time as a teacher.
