CHRYSSI AVGI
Contrary to what I believed was the end of Golden Dawn (Chryssi Avgi), it seems they are still around as an organisation. I read that they had disbanded and that their members had been told to join other parties. Apparently not.
This story from Kathimerini about the attacks at Panteion University in Athens yesterday. Three students were stabbed and one was taken hostage by members of the extreme right-wing group. He was later released although he had some undisclosed injuries. All of them are believed to be in stable condition.

When we talked the other night, we mentioned Chryssi Afghi….you said (I think) that you thought the organization had been disbanded….it appears not. I suspect they are far more evident and active than we supppose…..anyway, I enjoyed reading your blog (and meeting you the other night) and wish you Kalo Paska and all of that….chip ammerman

Hi Chip, Kalo Paska to you too and I hope you didn’t mind the little edit. Yes, I was wrong. It seems they, Chryssi Aygi, are very much alive as you said! Oh my goodness.
