TWO PROSECUTIONS
The Greek Helsinki Monitor has issued an urgent appeal to protest the Greek government’s prosecution of journalists and human rights defenders. The two cases cited in the appeal are that of journalist Makis Nodaros tried for defamation after he highlighted a case of sexual exploitation, and that of Professor Takis Alexiou who I blogged about earlier this year here and here.
